Living with a mental health struggle or a significant health diagnosis can make the world feel unpredictable, like your body and future plans are no longer fully your own. Chronic illness and pain don't just affect you physically; they can bring up grief, uncertainty, and a quiet exhaustion that's hard to put into words, especially when it feels like no one around you fully gets it.

Having navigated my own experiences with anxiety, depression, and a cancer diagnosis, I've sat in the client's chair myself and bring that life experience into my work alongside 6+ years in the mental health field. I'm especially passionate about supporting clients managing chronic illness or a health diagnosis, and the impact that can have on day-to-day life. My training in EMDR allows me to help clients drop deeper into the body and understand how mind and body are connected, whether we're working through something physical, emotional, or both.

Over time, clients notice a stronger sense of overall well-being and resilience, no matter what life has thrown their way and with time, you can build that same autonomy and trust in yourself. There's no timeline or rulebook for healing, and no topic too big or too small to bring here. Showing up is already the hardest part, and I'm honoured to create a safe space for you to be heard.

get to know me outside of therapy

  • I am and always have been a big music lover. I enjoy finding new artists to listen to and am an avid concert goer.
  • I spend a lot of my free time doing yoga, weightlifting, or spending time at my favorite spin studio (which I also volunteer at), to help me find some present moment mindfulness through movement.
  • My ideal day for downtime would include snuggling with my two cats while reading a good fantasy or horror book, or nerding out on tarot, crystals and astrology.
